Terrebonne Economic Foundation, TEDA's 501 (c)3 , is a non-profit corporation and is organized on a non-stock basis. TEDFO purpose is to promote the business interest of the City of Houma and Terrebonne Parish including rendering financial and other assistance to the manufacturing, industrial, business, and trade development of Houma-Terrebonne and the vicinity. In doing so, TEDFO is able to: purchase, sell, subdivide, and lease real property; build buildings and erect structures; lend money; carry-out the marketing plan for TEDA; receive and administer funds; and, take and hold (by bequest, devise, gift, purchase or lease,) either absolutely or in trust, such objects as real, personal, or mixed property.
As a non-profit foundation, TEDFo is able to accept gifts or donations of almost any kind and offer tax benefits and savings in return.
