Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC)

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS)

Physicians Surgical Specialty Hospital (PSSH)

Specialty hospitals have existed throughout the country for some time and are becoming increasingly popular. PSSH is a Medi-Care certified, state licensed acute care hospital founded by physicians in the medical community as an alternative to traditional hospitals. PSSH offers most services that one might expect from a larger, more institutionalized facility. Over 100 employees, including 50 nurses, are employed by the hospital.
