The Houma-Terrebonne Airport provides easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and booming Central and South American markets. Located at Latitude N 29˚ 34’ 02.65”, Longitude W 90˚ 39’ 37.27”, the airport has two concrete intersecting runways to accommodate very small to very large aircraft. Runway 18/36 (the north-south runway) is 6,508 feet long by 150 feet wide with a full instrument landing system. Runway 12/30 (the crosswind runway) is 5,000 feet long by 200 feet wide with a non-precision approach. The tower, located on the field, is an FAA Level 1, FVR, non-radar. The tower is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Current weather conditions are available for the airport 24 hours a day.
The Houma-Terrebonne Industrial Park has ample acreage for large and small developments. The Park offers leasable acreage for commercial, retail and industrial development.
